Introduction to APM

The Aviumtechnologies Panel Method (APM) is a low-order, unsteady, unstructured potential flow solver for arbitrary geometries suitable for quick what-if design studies.

Download APM binaries

To start using the Aviumtechnologies Panel Method, you just need to download the APM binaries for your system. You can download the binaries at https://apm.aviumtechnologies.com/#get-startedarrow-up-right.

Download the apm-getting-started.ziparrow-up-right archive in addition to the APM binaries. The archive contains the necessary files for you to run a simulation of a NACA4412 wing. Visit the quick start section for more information on how to run the simulation.

The free version of the APM supports up to 5000 panels and up to 50 unsteady timesteps and is strictly for non-commercial use. Should you require higher panel counts or advanced features such as control surfaces and/or actuator disks consider purchasing an APM license. You can purchase a licence after creating an account at https://acccounts.aviumtechnologies.comarrow-up-right.
